It also solves issues such as low strength before drying, difficult handling, and easy cracking after drying.

Compared with conventional drying, microwave drying has good uniformity, energy saving, environmental protection and high efficiency. For porous materials like honeycomb ceramics where moisture content is high and walls are thin, traditional methods often fail due to unequal heating and poor thermal conductivity. Microwave processing prevents deformation and maintains porosity and specific surface area.
