The system uses microwave irradiation to heat the wet body of the material evenly from the inside out. This overcomes the inconsistent drying speeds between the surface and the interior common in thick honeycomb ceramics, preventing cracking and deformation.
All industrial microwave equipment is securely packed in reinforced wooden cases with iron hoops to ensure safety during international transit.
