Working Principle:
The principle involves microwave irradiation of the wet body, causing the entire body to heat up evenly to achieve drying. This method overcomes the inconsistent drying speed between the surface and the interior of thick honeycomb ceramics. It also solves issues such as low strength before drying, difficult handling, and cracking after the process.
Compared with conventional drying, microwave drying offers superior uniformity, environmental protection, and efficiency. This is particularly critical for green honeycomb ceramics, where bad process control easily leads to deformation and loss of porosity.
