CO2 laser marking machine, also known as gas laser marking machine, generates a wavelength of 10.6µm. CO2 lasers feature relatively high power and high electro-optical conversion efficiency. They use CO2 gas filled in a discharge tube as the medium for laser generation. When a high voltage is applied to the electrodes, a glow discharge is produced, enabling gas molecules to emit laser light. The laser beam irradiates the material surface, converting light energy into heat energy, which instantly vaporizes the material surface to form marks.
